This age hardenable nickel base super alloy has very good strength in temperatures up to about 980oC (1800oF). It’s strength is generally comparable to that of Rene 41and is generally superior to that of Alloy 718 at temperatures exceeding 650 - 705oC (1200 - 1300oF).

CONDITION OF SUPPLY HEAT TREATMENT (AFTER FORMING)
Solution Annealed Stabilize at 843ºC (1550ºF) for 4 hours and air cool.
and
Age harden at 760ºC (1400ºF) for 16 hours and air cool.
Spring Temper Anneal at 1050ºC (1920ºF) for 4 hours and air cool.
and
Stabilize at 843ºC (1550ºF) for 24 hours and air cool.
and
Age harden at 760ºC (1400ºF) for 16 hours and air cool.
